I still think it could use a better name, but here is v1 of the RAMMA Scoring System scorecard (pdf). It’s not the nicest scorecard. I just exported a PDF from a Google Doc spreadsheet. I will definitely post a more well-designed version after I’ve vetted the system some.

Click here to download the scorecard.

Remember that each round is divided into three categories: Damage, Danger, and Control, with both fighters getting a score for each section. The maximum score is 2 and the minimum score is 0. Scores of 2-2, 2-1, 2-0, 1-1, 1-0, and 0-0 are all allowed. If both fighters did a ton of damage, 2-2 would be appropriate. Likewise, if neither fighter caused any significant damage, 0-0 would be the correct score. At the end of the fight, the scores are tallied up straight across. So, the maximum score for a five round fight would be 30 and the minimum would, of course, be 0.

If you’ve never scored fights while watching them I encourage you to give it a try. It really enhances the experience as you have to quantify what you observe beyond how you “feel” a fighter is doing.
