I agree that Velasquez probably isn’t ready for the two big dogs of the division yet, but who else would he have to go through to get a title shot? Both this fight and the title fight next month should be very instructive to us about all fighters involved.

I disagree that CV will have problems because of wrestling ability. I think it will be more to do with size. The time for splitting the heavyweight division in two is approaching, but there just aren’t enough top “heavy” athletes to justify the transition yet.

Cain Velasquez is just going to lay on Ben Rothwell like he did to Cheick Kongo. Even if Velasquez beats Rothwell, I don’t think he has much of a chance of beating Brock Lesnar or Shane Carwin because of their wrestling abilities

I wanted to know your opinion on who you think deserves fighter of the year. I don’t think that Lesnar or Brown deserve it. I think it comes down to Machida, St. Pierre, and Silva. They have all had extremely tough tests and have dominated the competition. I think this should be your next topic for your upcoming show.
